Safety First

The Steed Digger is built with safety in mind.  The gentle rotational action

Helps the operator to ‘feel’ obstructions in the hole, reducing possible damage to concealed objects such as pipes and cables.

Insulating Safety Collar

The cutting head of the Steed Digger is mounted on an insulating safety collar.

The Job of the collar is to isolate the cutting head from the main shaft of the digger.  This means if the digger encounters a damaged electrical cable, the operator is insulated against direct electric shocks.
